Artist Jionni Schoonis

My work consists of sculptural relief paintings. The sides of the paintings (4cm thick) are also coloured. Therefore, no framing is necessary. A painting can be custom-made, if necessary. For such paintings I always make sure the colours and the shape match the interior. I typically finish the paintings with a bit of silver or gold leaf, so the work shows a playful liveliness. Each work is unique. There is no purchase obligation.

Ever since I was a small child, I have been drawing. My great passion for shapes and colours prompted me to explore the world of sculptural art as a self-taught artist. For me, each painting is another challenge to strive for perfection.

Mijn werk bestaat uit sculpturale schilderijen met reliëf. De zijkanten van de schilderijen (4cm dikte) worden mee gekleurd, waardoor een inlijsting niet noodzakelijk is. Indien nodig kan een schilderij op maat worden gemaakt. Hierbij pas ik steeds de kleuren en vorm voor het interieur aan. Schilderijen werk ik meestal af met een beetje zilver of bladgoud, zodat het werk een speelse levendigheid vertoont. Elk werk is een uniek exemplaar. Er is geen afname verplichting.

Van jongs af aan ben ik altijd bezig geweest met tekenen. Vanuit mijn grote passie voor vormen en kleuren ben ik als autodidact de wereld van sculpturale kunst gaan verkennen. Voor mij is elke schilderij opnieuw een uitdaging om te streven naar perfectie.

Schilderijen zijn momenteel tentoongesteld in mijn ArtAtelier, we verwelkomen jou graag voor een bezoek met een persoonlijk advies, en dit zonder enige aankoop verplichting.
